Initially focused on security, the Brand recognised the strain on its clients who juggled multiple suppliers to maintain their facilities. In response, Ozland expanded its offerings beyond Sydney, evolving into a holistic provider of integrated facility services across Australia and New Zealand. This transformation was driven by a commitment to address all aspects of facility management, providing a seamless, all-encompassing service model that includes everything from security to concierge services.

BRAND CHALLENGE:

After operating successfully for several years, Ozland Group Solutions faced the need to refresh its Brand to better reflect its expanded capabilities and national reach. The challenge was to transform a traditionally faceless, security-focused Brand into a vibrant, approachable entity that conveyed sustainability, renewability, and growth. Further, the Brand aimed to establish itself as the singular point of contact for limitless integrated facility services. Another significant aspect of the Brand refresh was to integrate Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs) into the company ethos, highlighting a commitment to meaningful relationships, respect and opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

BRAND SOLUTION:

To revitalise the Brand, Ozland Group Solutions introduced a new logo that retained its Australian roots, symbolised by incorporating a stylised map of Australia in green and gold — colours that reflect the nation’s identity. A colour palette was also introduced that captured the earthy tones of the Australian outback.

 

The ReBranding Strategy included creating a Brand Hierarchy with Ozland Group Solutions at the apex and six specialised subdivisions, each focusing on different aspects of facility services such as Integrated Security and AI Solutions, Commercial, Industrial and Retail Cleaning, Construction and Maintenance, Carpark Management and Systems Installations, Smart Building Technologies and Concierge and Guest Services.

 

This restructuring allowed for clearer communication, a stronger value proposition and specialised services with overarching key messages focused on environmental stewardship and community engagement as fundamental Brand values.

Brand deliverables

The comprehensive Brand strategy included the development of a new Brandmark, Brand Guidelines, Brand Identity and Positioning, extending across both print, digital and social mediums. The deliverables also encompassed the creation of leadership bios, updated photography for key personnel, distinctive vehicle livery across Australia, and a revamped website. Internal corporate documents and presentations were redesigned to align with the new Brand Identity, ensuring consistency and clarity in all internal and external communications. These changes not only enhanced visual cohesion but also strengthened the Brand’s presence in a competitive market, supporting its expansion and the deepening of client relationships.
